Sausalito-Sakaide Sister City Program

Northbay magazine recently published an article highlighting The Sausalito-Sakaide Sister City program is a student exchange between the cities of Sausalito andSakaide, Japan.

“This year, two Marin City teens, Antanaisa and Jaliyah Cook, attended the 10-day immersion trip, filled with Japanese culture and customs. The girls have been a part of Marin Performing Stars, an organization that enriches low-income children through the arts, since they were 5 and 6 years old. Founded by Felecia Gaston in 1990, Marin Performing Stars has provided the Cooks with classes in dance, coding, baton twirling and acting.”
